Well, where do we start?

First, there is No Cash. He is our Stallion and pretty old now (30 years old). He raced very well for Rick a long time ago and now enjoys entirement. He is a very nice gentleman and behaves extraordinary well for a Stallion with his harem around. He usually shares his space with JB, our llama.

The youngest member of the herd is His Name Is Noah, a son of No Cash and out of April Mar. He was born during a week of rainstorms and nasty weather in May, that's where his name is coming from. Even as a foal he was very independent, and that has not changed. He has his father's little ears and his mother's temper. He is 3 now and we are going to race him this coming year, starting with the Wisconsin fairs, and then who knows??? Let's see what he thinks of that! As of now, he is convinced that hanging out with the girls and eating is all there is to it.

The next one is a biiiiig girl, her name is 'Delightfully Red'. She is a daughter of Wilson Wyoming and out of April Mar. She is beautiful and smart and she knows it. She acts a lot like her mom, who thankfully is a very nice mare with good manners. If you like to see some pictures, please go to the Horses & Critters Page.

Big Dog Sammo is grown up too. He is no longer very tall and skinny, now he is just tall and all legs. He trots nicely and should make a good race horse, or a good driving horse for that matter. He is also FOR SALE and you will find more information on the picture page.

April Mar is one of our broodmares, she is no longer racing. She is still a one-person horse who keeps everybody in line. She is the head of the herd and tells everybody how it is going to be.

Then there is 'Hope's Point'. She raced pretty good during her career but now she has a new role: Retiree, broodmare and Marion's saddle horse. Standardbred are easy going horses and if you ever wanted to have a nice level headed horse, adopt one from the Harness Horse Association. These horses have seen it all and are not easy to tick of under normal conditions.

After we had to put to sleep our beloved Akita 'Max' after his hips gave him so much trouble, we decided to have another dog. Living on a farm and not having a dog whilst a lot of dogs are in need for a home or spend their lives in an apartment didn't seem to be right. So we went to the Green County Human Society and adopted the oldest available dog with the least chance to ever get out. We ended up with a Chocolate Lab named 'Brooklyn' who is probably around 10 years old and a very nice old man. Green County Human Society is a no kill shelter and probably what one would expect from an organization built of volunteers, not money. You can find a link on our link page. They are a great bunch of people, dedicated to the health of animals in need. And they could use your help to.

In addition to Brooklyn, we got a puppy when Marion went with a friend to a swap meet for poultry (makes sense, doesn't it) Supposedly he is a mix of Akita and Black Lab, in reality he is anything but. He probably is a Mastiff/German Shepherd. He has grown to a wonderful and outstanding dog. We love him dearly, his name is 'Bruno'...

Over the years, we met a lot of people. We met people who love horses, or love riding, prefer driving, or are just interested in animals in general. We enjoyed meeting them and attending some events together, from trail riding to distance driving. We added some links to our page to give you the opportunity to see what else is out there. So, check it out...
